As the city hall is unavailable, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) has changed the date of the blood collection. Initially scheduled for Monday 31 October, it was brought forward to Thursday 27 October, from 2.30pm to 7.30pm, in the town hall.
Donors will be welcomed by the medical teams and will answer the preliminary questionnaire before each blood collection, a ritual that regular customers know and that they will discover donors for the first time. Afterwards, the snack will be offered by Joëlle, Magali and Madeleine, the volunteers at the reception, always attentive and ready to add a drink or some cake.
During the last blood collection the donor curve was up, an encouraging trend for medical research and for maintaining the stock of reserves needed every day and which becomes crucial when vacation time comes.
