Washington: Five people were killed in a shooting in Raleigh, the capital of North Carolina. Among the dead was also a police officer. It was reported that the killer was arrested.
This was announced by Raleigh Mayor Mary Ann Bladwin. They also reported that the attack took place at 5:00 pm US time. Police confirmed five deaths. One of them was an off-duty policeman.
An injured officer was hospitalized. His wound is not serious. Gun attacks are on the rise in the United States. Many people were killed only in 2022.
