The presence of over 600 producers at the renewed Expo Agro del Norte event is a demonstration of the interest and the existing need to learn about new technologies that allow for improved crop management. The Association of Oilseed and Wheat Producers (Anapo), in coordination with its northern branch, brought together more than 35 exhibitors at its ¨San Pedro¨ Experimental Center, including input suppliers, seed producers, suppliers of equipment and machinery, to expose the technological offerings available to the producers of the Integrated North of Santa Cruz.
Visitors were able to see soybean varieties, corn and sorghum hybrids, soil management, urea fertilization, commercial house technology packages, crop losses, agricultural machinery and equipment in demonstration plots , in addition to the exhibition area with the display of products and services available for agriculture.
“Our technical team has lectured on soil management, the use of urea as a fertilizer and sustainable crop management. The goal is to bring all the technology available to the producers of the region closer to strengthen knowledge and obtain an improvement in crop productivity ”, said Fidel Flores, president of Anapo.
