MADRID (Portaltic / EP) .- Microsoft has announced that two services developed by Apple, Apple Music and Apple TV, will soon arrive on its Windows platforms and devices, as well as a new integration with iCloud and the Photos application in the latest version of the operating system.
The company unveiled these developments during the unveiling of its new Surface devices this Wednesday, where it emphasized that it seeks to “remove barriers and make it easier to connect” across all platforms and devices, according to a press release.
Building on that goal, he said the Apple TV and Apple Music apps will soon be available for Windows, with previews downloadable from the Microsoft Store later this year.
Thanks to this integration, users will be able to listen to music or access playlists from Apple’s streaming music service or watch series from Apple TV + directly from a computer running Windows.
On the other hand, the Apple TV app was already available for Xbox and the Apple Music app arrived on the gaming platform this Wednesday.
On the other hand, Microsoft has indicated that Windows 11 Photos is adding support for iCloud as well. This way, iPhone users will be able to access their image and video gallery directly from this Microsoft application.
To connect the platform with the application, you must first download iCloud for Windows from the Microsoft Store and choose the ‘Sync iCloud Photos’ option. Currently, this service is only available for the Windows Insider Channel and will reach all users in November.
