Five people were arrested Thursday evening in Roosendaal as part of a drug trafficking investigation. During a major action in Kalsdonk, the old Philips district, police raided a phone shop and a canteen.
A house on Wattstraat was also searched by the police. A large amount of hashish was found there. Five large bags were removed, the resident was arrested. Among those arrested are people suspected of drug dealing. Earlier in the evening, the action centered around the Heilig Hartplein.
Two cars were searched and impounded. Counterfeit items were found in the searched phone shop.
Neighborhood councils
The police, the municipality of Roosendaal and customs intervened after reports of disturbance from the neighborhood. The streets in the area have been closed. “The police have a zero tolerance-politics; if something is wrong, come with you, “says Omroep Brabant journalist Willem-Jan Joachems.
The operation is called Pin had. The police wanted to arrest three drug dealers early.
