The Ministry of Transport has announced the arrival of 11 monorail trains in the New Administrative Capital Monorail project, the last of which on 23/09/2022 out of a total of 40 trains that will be supplied to the East Nile Monorail project (the Administrative Capital) , underlining that the rest of the fleet of mobile units of the project is nearing completion, which will be supplied later, according to the established timetable
The Administrative Capital Monorail extends from the Nasr City stadium station to the Justice City station in the Administrative Capital with a length of 56.5 km and includes 22 stations and is built through a consortium of companies (Alstom – Orascom – Arab Contractors) led by the French company Alstom.
The East Nile Monorail (the administrative capital) will connect Nasr City to the administrative capital, where it will exchange service with the third subway line at the stadium station on Youssef Abbas Street, to Khalifa Al-Zafer Street and the 7th district, passing through Zakir Hussein Street, reaching Al-Wafa and Al-Amal Street, then heading towards Field Marshal Tantawi axis and South 90th Street, to Bait Al Watan, then runs through the neighborhoods of the new administrative capital, and this route has many blocks high density residential buildings.
