Instead of fatty steaks, pastries or deep-fried appetizers, choose low-fat alternatives like grilled or grilled fish or skinless white chicken skewers.

Other lean protein sources you can snack on include soybeans, and you can keep fat levels low by seasoning high-protein foods with herbs and spices instead of heavy sauces or butter.
