Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan stated that the relocation of Kampung Bambu residents living in the beds around Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) is the business of PT KAI Daop 1. This is because the beds are built on land owned by PT KAI Daop I so that the transfer process is not the responsibility of the DKI provincial government.
“This is KAI, it’s best to ask KAI,” he said Anies Baswedan after the inauguration of Kampung Susun Bayam in the JIS area, north of Jakarta, on Wednesday (10/12/2022).
Anies was reluctant to talk further about the relocation of the residents who lived in the beds near JIS. She then asked for this to be confirmed to PT KAI Daop 1.

“With the cooperative situation of the residents, the check will not be carried out, the activities on Tuesday (11/10) will focus on the regional service work that helps the residents to move goods using a series of vehicles that have been prepared”, he Eva stated in a written statement, Tuesday (01/11) 10/2022).
Eva said there were at least 254 non-permanent buildings or beds that had been vacated. Residents have gradually left the place.
“Previously, residents occupying 254 buildings had done the self-emptying process of non-permanent buildings in several stages,” he said.
