The Yankees are expected to host the Cleveland Guardians in the Bronx on Thursday at 7:37 pm ET, but bad weather could disrupt their schedule.

We are evaluating the possibility of thunderstorms during the first pitch and, although the risk decreases as the night progresses, it should remain humid throughout the seventh inning and for fans returning home after the game.

The playoff team, led by Aaron Judge, leads the Guardians in the 1-0 series.

The sky is expected to clear up by midnight and the sun will return on Friday amid temperatures around the 60s to get the weekend off to a good start.

Perfect weather also seems to be expected for Saturday, before the next chance of rain arrives on Sunday.
