Last spring, mother of pearl singer Claude Robin, from Saint-Calez-en-Saosnois (Sarthe), released a new album, entitled “Success and Party when I was a kid”.
On this record, the artist covers great French and international song titles. Claude Robin also had the good idea of composing and writing an original title called Les Marins. In this piece he pays homage to the men of the sea near Saint-Malo. A title that caught the attention of the crew of the group’s boat GCA by Gilles Lamiré. The team decided to make Claude Robin’s song their official anthem.
A great first
I will be present in the starting village of the Route du Rhum, from 25 October to 6 November, the day of the departure of the transatlantic regatta. I will be installed on the stand of the GCA boat and I will give a showcase every day. It’s a great experience and I admit I’m a little nervous because it’s a great first time for me.
confides Claude Robin a few days before taking the road to Saint-Malo.
During these small daily concerts, the Mamertine singer will take the opportunity to perform some other songs from his album. The idea is to please the public. My singing tour will be broadcast every day on three big screens to allow as many people as possible to follow my performance.
emphasizes Claude Robin.
A clip with skipper Gilles Lamiré
On these screens the public will also be able to see the official clip of the song Les Marins. We shot this clip during the summer in Saint-Malo with Gilles Lamiré, the skipper of the boat of the GCA group. We had a great time and the result lived up to my expectations.
claims the artist.
At the end of the concert, Claude Robin will meet the spectators. I love to see my album signing every day. I owe it to the public. Besides, it’s a great way to promote my album
justifies the singer.
If stage fright is present, as we have said, Claude Robin does not pressure himself. “The goal is to have fun and please the audience by having an unprecedented experience for me. The way of rum it is a great sporting event and I am proud to participate in it in my own way “concludes Claude Robin.
