This is the man who shot someone on a full terrace in Tilburg

The 24-year-old man wanted as a suspect in a shooting in Tilburg was identified by the police. It’s about Thomas Nelom of Drunen, police announced Monday. A 29-year-old Tilburger was wounded in the leg in the shooting. Police suspect the suspect is overseas.

Previously, the police shared an unrecognizable photo, his first name and the initial of his last name and invited the man to come forward. He hasn’t done it so far. That’s why the police are now showing him recognizable and with his full name.

Complete terrace
Thomas Nelom is suspected of having shot a Tilburger on June 12 on a full terrace at the Heuvelring. The police have footage from the surveillance cameras that would prove this. Beside him was the suspect’s brother, Lucas.

The two escaped, brother Lucas was arrested that same evening. His brother escaped despite the warning shots of a police officer. On his escape route, a firearm was later found, which was confiscated.

Visit to the fair
The reason for the shooting, which the Public Prosecutor’s Office considers an attempted murder, is not yet clear. Nelom and the victim would only know each other from a previous visit to the fair. The victim himself says he has no idea why he was shot.

Lucas is still in custody and is suspected of complicity. He announced in a pro forma audition that he no longer wanted to have anything to do with his brother him. He fears his brother will charge him for the shooting.
