Clotilde Armand, USR Mayor of Sector 1, announced on Monday that it had initiated a draft local council decision that citizens of this administrative area, who are over 18, should benefit from an “anti-crisis” ticket. 1,000 lei, according to a press release.
We recall that Armand has repeatedly criticized, when he was in the opposition, similar PSD initiatives that did not take into account the income of the beneficiaries, characterizing them as electoral gifts.
The purpose of the card would be to help residents get through the winter more easily, says Clotilde Armand.
The source of the money is the savings obtained from the contract with the health worker: 100 million lei in 2021 and 100 million lei in 2022.
Recall that Sector 1 of the Capital is known for luxury districts such as Dorobanti, Aviatorilor, Băneasa or Pipera, where the standard of living is significantly above the average in Bucharest.
Clotilde Armand explained that, with this money, the residents of Sector 1 can choose for themselves the destination of their priority investments in the energy sector: the insulation of buildings, the purchase of photovoltaic panels or a heat pump, to buy o change the boiler of the apartment or condominium, to change the windows or the entrance door, to replace the radiators and, where possible, to pay the bills for gas, electricity or Thermoenergetics.
“We offer 200 million lei to the residents of Sector 1. This is financial support in the form of a crisis voucher worth 1,000 lei for each resident. The aid is nominal. Every resident who has reached the age of 18 will receive this. Crisis ticket. Only citizens residing in Sector 1 will benefit from this aid “, explained the mayor of Sector 1, Clotilde Armand, in a press conference in the presence of Vlad Voiculescu – former Minister of Health, Claudiu Năsui – former Minister of Economy and deputy Cristina Prună – vice president of the Commerce and Services Commission.
