Audrey Persillon and Thomas Didier, both orthoptists and founders in 2018 of the Eyesoft * start-up specializing in the fields of e-health and vision, noted in their daily practice that patients consult later and later.
In order to improve the assistance of the French and their care path, the company offers a solution dedicated to the early identification of oculomotor disorders. Called Emaa Check, this 3D software was specially designed for opticians.
How does it work ?
Thanks to the fun interface and the eye tracker built into the virtual reality headset, you can perform 4 predefined eye and visual tests in less than 5 minutes. Following the evaluations, the optician generates in 1 click a report in pdf format including a personalized report to be delivered to the wearer. Depending on the results, he can advise and guide them for early orthoptic care. For easier tracking, you can also save customer records securely.
Note that Eyesoft start-up provides training on the use of Emaa Check and the professional interface.
Offer your customers a differentiating experience
Integrating this solution into your store’s customer journey is an opportunity to strengthen your role as a healthcare professional and enrich your visual health service offering. Furthermore, Emaa Check can be part of a better collaboration between the 3 “O” (ophthalmologists, opticians and orthoptists).
The rental of the headphones and access to the software costs between 160 and 180 euros per month.
* Today, 240 professionals are equipped with an Eyesoft solution in France and more than 20,000 people have been treated with Eyesoft’s Emaa range software.
