VRT does not have to pay compensation to Bart De Pauw: the judge sweeps millions of credits from the TV producer off the table

Surprisingly, it refers not only to the crimes for which De Pauw was explicitly convicted, but also to some of the behaviors he exhibited towards other women. The civil court also sees those behaviors as “further evidence of abuse of power and transgressive behavior in a professional context”. The judge also criticized the fact that De Pauw, faced with his behavior by the VRT, “seemed to show no sense of guilt and was unwilling to take any responsibility”.
