The Under 17 Women’s World Cup kicks off tomorrow. Matches will be held in Bhubaneswar, Goa and Mumbai. 16 teams are drawn into four groups.
Brazil will face Morocco in the first match. India will face the US on the same day. India are in Group A. India will face Morocco in the second game and Brazil in the final. Thomas Dennerby is the coach of the Indian team.
Spain is the holder of the title. The final is on the 30th of this month. This is the first World Cup to be held in India after hosting the Men’s U17 World Cup five years ago. Kochi was also the stage then.
