Sharing good news

AUF leader Astrid Hoem (27) has a boyfriend. She shares it herself on Instagram.

“I can thank the trade union movement for everything, even the guy,” Hoem writes in the post.

Hoem tells Dagbladet that the boy’s name is Erlend Andresen and he works at LO.

While many of his peers resort to checking out apps like Tinder in 2022, Hoem may reveal that he met his chosen one the good old fashioned way.

– We met at a union political conference and had a lot of fun together, says Hoem.

Young boss

Astrid Hoem, originally from Kristiansund, has been leader of the Labor Party youth organization since 2020 and was unanimously named leader for two new years in September.

The election of the central council will be decided at next weekend’s national meeting.

– If the national assembly agrees, there is nothing I would still prefer to fight for a greener and fairer Norway and world together with our entire team, it was among what Hoem shared on Instagram after the appointment.

In 2020, at the age of 25, she was the youngest leader of the AUF since Sissel Rønbeck in 1975. From 2018 to 2020, Hoem was deputy leader of the AUF, but even before that she held several roles, including including that of leader of Kristiansund AUF.

Hoem was one of those who survived the Utøya terrorist attack in 2011.

More working couples

Nor is it just Hoem who this fall proved Tinder can be redundant.

At the beginning of this autumn, Dagbladet was able to say that the two representatives of Storting Sofie Marhaug (32) and Mimir Kristjansson (35), both from Rødt, they found happiness together.

The two confirmed to Dagbladet that they are in a relationship, but neither Kristjansson nor Marhaug wanted to comment further on Dagbladet’s question about the relationship.
