Four of the Arab world’s most famous artists participated in the song “Light The Sky”, namely Emirati singer Balqis, Moroccan-Canadian star Noura Fathi and Iraqi Rahma Riad, as well as Moroccan singer-songwriter Manal.
The video of the song also celebrates the first participation of female referees in the World Cup, showing the six referees who will manage some matches of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and help them referee.
These are the French Stephanie Frappart, the Rwandan Salima Mukansanga, the Japanese Yoshimi Yamashita, the Brazilian Newsa Pak, the Mexican Karen Diaz, as well as the American Catherine Nesbitt.
“Light The Sky” is the fourth official music of the tournament, after “Come On”, “Welcome” and “The World is Yours to Take”.
The song is produced by Redone, who is VIVA’s creative head of entertainment.
The song was released a few hours ago, with the approach of the World Cup, which begins on November 20 and ends with the final on December 18.
