On Saturday night, police received a report that a group of young people were playing on the tracks before the train arrived at Nordby station in Jessheim.
– It was about staying as far as possible on the tracks before the train arrived, reports the director of operations in the eastern police district, Finn Håvard Aas.
The police received the report shortly after 8 pm, but when they arrived at the station the young people had left.
– So we don’t have the names or ages of the people involved, but the conductor would have talked to them, says the operations manager.
Aas also reminds us how serious such a game can be.
– It is dangerous for the life of young people and it is not a fun game. Plus, he can cause damage to the train if he has to brake in an emergency, he tells Romerikes Blad.
