Kozhikode: The country’s largest sports quiz, presented by Super Six Spots in partnership with the International Quizzing Association Asia Chapter, starts in November. Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle, known as the voice of cricket, will be the quiz master in this competition, where students from class VI to class X can participate in teams of two. A maximum of five teams per school can compete.
The winning schools will receive a prize of Rs 1 crore for sports development. The teams that make it to the finals will have the opportunity to attend a sporting event for free anywhere in the world. And many other prizes, including Apple laptops, will be up for grabs.
The Kozhikode competition is run by Q Factory, which holds the record for the largest quiz festival in the world. Registration is free. Register at www.ultimatesportsquiz.com. The deadline is October 15th.
