The Times reveals details of the relationship between the player and the Manchester United manager.
Çristiano Ronaldo will be “sorry” and “furious” against Erik ten Hag, the Dutch manager who resumed the new season at Manchester United, according to the Times this Saturday.
According to the same newspaper, the Portuguese ace has questioned the training methods of Ten Hag, someone he considers ‘stubborn’ and who feels too worried about making United look like the Ajax he has led in the recent past.
Cristiano Ronaldo is also not happy with the recent comments from Ten Hag, who claims not to have launched him on the pitch in the derby with City (3-6) out of “respect”. This logic even made Ronaldo “furious”, according to the Times.
It is recalled that Cristiano Ronaldo only started in the Europa League, having scored only one goal after nine games played by Manchester United in 2022/23.
