On the afternoon of the 8th, there was a problem with the collapse of a part of the road and the blocking of the wheels of the bus on the Ome Kaido in Suginami Ward, Tokyo.
According to the police, after 15:00 on the 8th, a part of the sidewalk of the street collapsed on the Ome Kaido in Suginami-ku Kamiogi 3-chome and the right rear wheel of the bus carrying passengers got stuck and may not move.
The bus was a Seibu bus bound for Shakujiikoen station from Ogikubo station. According to the Seibu Bus, it stopped just before Hatcho Station, about 1km northwest of Ogikubo Station, and when it was about to leave, the right rear wheel got stuck. Means that
According to Seibu Bus, there were around 20 passengers at the time and one of them complained of pain in his buttocks.
According to police, the hole that collapsed is about the same size as a bus tire and deep enough to sink a quarter of the tire, so they’re investigating the details.
