GEM OF ROSEMARY.- With the arrival of autumn the flu vaccination season begins. So far, children have not been considered a preferred group for vaccination against this disease, but should children be vaccinated against the flu? To answer this and other questions, the Higher Institute of Health Education (ISFOS) is organizing a free webinar entitled “Vaccinate children against the flu?”. A meeting promoted by General Nursing Councilin collaboration with AstraZeneca, which will take place next Thursday, 13 October, from 16:00 to 18:00.
The flu or the flu is a respiratory infection which can cause serious complications, especially in young children. In this webinar you will have the opportunity to learn from great experts whether giving children the flu shot is the best way to prevent the disease.

Moderated by David Ruipérez, director of communication of the General Nursing Council, Silvia Bernárdez, nurse of the CAP El Masnou in Barcelona, will speak about the “influenza epidemiology in children“; Raúl Ayala, nurse of the Sardinero health center in Santander, who will analyze the “vaccination recommendations for children“; while José Antonio Forcada, president of the National Nursing and Vaccines Association, will analyze «the role of nurses in vaccine indication and recommendations«.
