Two members of the Traffic Directorate West Papua Police the perpetrators of harassment on the 77th anniversary of the TNI were fired from the Polri institute. The dishonorable discharge decision (PTDH) was made at a session of the Code of Professional Ethics held today at West Papua Regional Police Headquarters.
“The two offenders, namely Bripda YFP and Bripda YMB were alleged to have committed shameful acts so that they were dismissed with disrespect (PTDH) by the Polri institution,” said the police public relations chief of West Papua, Kombes Adam Erwindi, as reported by the news agency. He said the code of ethics trial for the two offenders was conducted after both had undergone examination and detention since October 5, 2022 at the West Papua Police Detention Center.
After reading the verdict at the trial of the code of ethics led by the head of Propam (chief) of the Propam West Papua police, Kombes Bulang Bayu Samudra, the two offenders filed an appeal against the decision of the PTDH.
“The two offenders challenged the code of ethics trial decision, so we are waiting for more legal remedies to be taken by the two offenders,” said Adam Erwindi.

The two members of the West Papuan Police Traffic Directorate are known to have gone viral on social media since October 5, 2022 after licking a birthday cake that was about to be delivered by the West Papuan police at Kasuari Kodam.
As a result of their actions, West Papuan Police Chief Inspector Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga on Wednesday evening (10/5) offered an open apology to Kasuari’s military commander and TNI institutions across Indonesia.
