KISS on the lips with a loved one or loved one usually makes a person feel happy.
But this feeling of happiness doesn’t seem to apply to this woman named Janelle Gonzales. Instead of being happy, she really got sick after kissing.
This unique story, Janelle recently shared uploading her personal TikTok account, @ janellegonzalez360. Lei janelle claimed she had an allergic reaction after kissing a man on a date the night before.
When she woke up the next day, the 27-year-old woman was surprised to see that her upper lip had widened. Confused, Janelle finally tried to figure out what she was making her lips swell.

Janelle, who is very allergic to shellfish, remembers that she didn’t eat seafood that night. She then called the appointment, asking the man if she had ever eaten seafood before the date. The man replied that he ate shrimp fried rice before his date with Janelle.
It is suspected that the food eaten by the man triggered an allergic reaction in Janelle.
“It’s not even safe to make out with men anymore. Everyone be careful out there,” Janelle said in the video.
The video of Janelle’s experience of being allergic just from kissing the man was also widely commented on by other netizens who have had a similar experience.
“My parents told my boyfriend in high school to eat peanut butter before our date so he couldn’t kiss each other,” said one netizen.
“My friend’s sister kissed her boyfriend on the morning of their wedding after eating watermelon and is very allergic. They even have to cancel the wedding, “another user said.
Medically, as explained by allergist Dr. Scott Sicherer, research shows that between 5% and 12% of people with food allergies can experience an allergic reaction to kissing.
“Any substance that causes an allergic reaction is called an allergen. For some people, minimal exposure to trace amounts of the allergen can lead to a severe reaction.”
Allergic reactions to food allergies due to exposure to third parties such as kissing are generally rare, but they are possible. This condition is also known as the “kiss of death”. This is what the New York Post reported on Friday (7/10/2022).
