French company Now coworking was selected to operate the historic building of the ICCin Strasbourg, approx 4.000 sqm.
If the project were to materialize, the company could offer offices, coworking spaces and meeting rooms for rent.
“For the moment it is simply a promise of lease”, tempered the communication of the ICC, indicating that “the contract could materialize in the coming weeks”.
Now coworking hopes to be able to start its business by the 3rd quarter of 2023.
“Bringing a favorable activity back to the city center” for its economy
In any case, the idea, with this project, is to “bring a business that favors hotels and restaurants back to the city center, with a coworking platform”, underlines the CCI.
In fact, “having people welcomed into coworking means overnight stays for the hotel sector, [des consommations chez nos restaurateurs]etc. “.
Also a planned wine shop
This is not the only activity that will house the historic building of the ICC. “The Syndicate of Independent Winegrowers of Alsace will take up residence on almost 400 square meters on the ground floor of the building for the promotion, tasting and sale of wines”, remembers Now coworking. This store is expected to open later this year if all goes well.
By the second quarter of 2023, the CCI plans to relocate its operations to a new 2,400 m² building located in the heart of the European business area in Schiltigheim.
