What is the cause of breast cancer?
Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that develops from breast cells. It usually begins in the cells of the lobules, which are the milk-producing glands, or in the ducts, which are the pathways that carry milk from the lobules to the nipple.
This cancer is caused by genetic anomaly. However, only 5-10% of cases are the product of an anomaly inherited from mother or father.
Conversely, 85 to 90% of cases originate from genetic abnormalities linked to the aging process.
