The Kremlin responds to the presidential decree Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky indicating the prospect of talks with the President Russia Vladimir Putin it’s impossible’. The Kremlin said it was better to wait for the new president of Ukraine who is willing to change his attitude for the good of the people.
As reported Associated Press and Russian news agencies, TAX, Wednesday (10/5/2022), Zelensky is known for signing a decree stating that he will not have talks with Putin after the Kremlin annexed his country’s territory. But Zelensky still opens the doors to dialogue with Russia.
Kremlin or the Russian presidential office in response said it would wait for Ukraine to agree to sit down for talks on how to end the conflict, but also stressed that this may not happen until a new Ukrainian president takes office.

“It is necessary for both sides to hold talks,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in a statement.
“We will wait for the incumbent president to change his position or we will wait for the future Ukrainian president to review his position in the interest of the Ukrainian people,” Peskov said, when asked if an agreement could be reached without Kiev.
According to Peskov, even before launching a special military operation in Ukraine, Russia was committed to finding a diplomatic solution to the situation in Ukraine.
“From the very beginning, since before the military operation, Russia has supported the use of diplomatic and negotiating means to meet the conditions set by Moscow,” he explained.
