Áncash: Healthcare staff applied covid-19 vaccines in polling stations | News

The work of the health brigades to fill vaccination gaps against covid-19 did not stop at the elections. South Pacific Health Network staff in Nuevo Chimbote, Ancash, turned polling stations to deliver doses to voters.

The Immunization Technical Team has established coordination with the Decentralized Office of Electoral Processes (ODPE) allocate vaccination brigades in polling stations with the largest electoral population, such as the Augusto Salazar Bondy, República de Argentina, Juan Valer Sandoval, San Luis de la Paz, Señor de la Vida and Las Delicias schools.

Since the start of the nationwide covid-19 vaccination campaign, 3 million 389,637 doses of the new coronavirus vaccine have been applied to Ancash, according to the latest update of the Single Vaccination Repository of the Ministry of Health (Minsa).

Currently 844,290 citizens have the third dose of the covid-19 vaccine, which it administers to the department coverage of 80.93%.

Similarly, as regards the fourth dose, 289,711 citizens have already received it, which gives it coverage of 31.82%.
