Al-Marsad Newspaper – Agencies: Qatar has announced that it is following with great concern the current developments of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis relating to the accession agreements of the regions of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye to Russia.
In a statement, the Qatari Foreign Ministry underlined “the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders and to pursue dialogue as a way to resolve the crisis”.
He stressed the position of the state of Qatar calling for the need to adhere to the UN Charter and the established principles of international law, including the obligations under the Charter to resolve international disputes by peaceful means.
