MADRID, Oct 3 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Film Festival kicks off this Monday, October 3, with the aim of reactivating an industry that has experienced a 37% drop at the box office compared to pre-pandemic figures.

Another novelty of this new edition of the Film Festival is its participation in the activities to celebrate the Spanish Film Day, which is celebrated on Thursday 6 October. In addition, the Ministry of Culture and Sport has announced the award of the Film and Audiovisual Heritage Award, which will be awarded on 5 October in order to highlight the work of people, institutions and organizations that have developed initiatives and notable heritage recovery, conservation and dissemination projects.
