Samuel Umtiti, on loan from Barcelona, arrived in Italy and was welcomed by Lecce fans, but the French international has yet to play.
After eight Serie A matches, the central defender has been called up in Lecce’s last six squads, but he doesn’t even have a minute in the league.
Coach Marco Baroni had previously stated that Umtiti would have had a period of adaptation, after having been out of the game for almost two seasons, but not even after the break for the national team matches did the defender have the opportunity to make his debut.
