Everyone wants to raise children to have a normal childhood. However, the situation does not always allow this. The royal court protocol is very strict and members of the royal family must follow it. Sometimes there was someone in the royal family who tried to break it. Among these people was the beloved Princess Diana, who joined this family at an early age.
He tried to give his children a “normal” childhood.
Thanks to Diana, Harry and William had a childhood as normal as possible. He took them to the zoo about her, they traveled with her on a regular city transport, sometimes even took them to eat at McDonald’s. However, they had to go everywhere in disguise so that no one would recognize them. Despite the fact that they were not allowed to go to many places due to protocol, they arrived there with Diana. In 1993, they even visited Thorpe Park in disguise, where they lined up with other children.
She guided the children to school herself
She guided her principles in school herself. Until then, it was common for children of the royal family to only be educated at home. She changed everything as she went, but William and Harry appreciated it. She led them to see the life of the less fortunate.
He also took them to a homeless hostel, breaking all the rules of royal protocol. But she was convinced that it was right: children shouldn’t live in a greenhouse, but they should learn about life elsewhere as well. She motivated her children to help those in need.
Sometimes he argued with the paparazzi
Unfortunately, with his lifestyle, he did not shy away from arguing with the paparazzi. When they went on vacation together to Austria, she had to ask them to leave her and her children alone. They continued to film and photograph them while skiing. In order for her children to feel like a normal vacation, Diana refused even the presence of the bodyguards.
He was traveling with children
Among other things, he also traveled with his children. Despite the fact that in the royal family it was customary to leave a small child at home and go on trips, Diana and William also completed a royal tour of Australia. She took a nanny and a nine-month-old son with whom she wanted to spend as much time as possible on the six-week trip. Diana defended herself in essential matters and certainly did not allow herself to be bound by the protocol.
