TRIBUNNEWS.COM, BEIJING – Xiaomi officially launches a mid-range smartphone Xiaomi Citizen 2 of China.
This smartphone is the successor to the Xiaomi Civi which was released last year.
Xiaomi Civi 2 comes with a new design and becomes a phone Android the first to have a pill-shaped hole that houses the selfie camera at the top center of the screen.
Therefore, the front looks somewhat similar to Apple’s iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Departing from Gizmochina, Xiaomi Citizen 2 it has a thickness of 7.23 mm and weighs 171.8 g. This phone is available in three colors: black, pink and blue. Additionally, this phone has released a special Hello Kitty edition which is available in white.
Xiaomi Civi 2 is equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD +), a refresh rate of 120 Hz and supports a color depth of 10 bits.
The display supports 800 nits of brightness, 240Hz touch sample rate, and PWM dimming up to 1920Hz.
Furthermore, the panel or screen of the Civi 2 is protected by Corning Glass 5. There is a fingerprint sensor at the bottom and a pill-shaped hole at the top. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and can play HDR content (Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10 +).
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset paired with LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 memory, and a stainless VC liquid cooling system.
