The term “girlfriend as an investment” is going viral on social media. A TikToker reveals her life story which is entirely funded by her lover because she is considered an investment for life.
Hannah Chan, the woman’s name, said her living expenses were fully met by her boyfriend, Ed Reay. Starting with apartment rentals, monthly bills to vacation expenses.
This 27-year-old woman first met Ed, who is five years her junior, in July 2021. The meeting paid off. The two love each other and decide to live together.

In September 2021, Ed, a Canadian businessman, flew from his hometown of Vancouver to London, England to live with Hannah. As time goes by and their closeness becomes more intense, Ed wants to be the one who supports their life together and is responsible for paying all the bills and bills.

Meanwhile, Hannah takes care of the housework and makes their home the most comfortable place for Ed after a hard day’s work. In exchange for covering her living expenses, Hannah is tasked with providing comfort and happiness for Ed.
Including supporting him when he’s tired or just making a delicious smoothie to drink after work. Hannah didn’t mind being considered an investment by Ed.
This thinking is in stark contrast to old Hannah Chan, when she was still pursuing a career. After many failed dates, she decided that she just wanted to be in a relationship with someone she could “dominate” and satisfy all of her needs.
“I started to understand in a relationship that I didn’t want to be the dominant party and I wanted someone to finance me. Before, I always saw success in business and the money I raised as an advantage when dating, but I realized I didn’t. I don’t want it, ”Hannah said, as quoted from the LAD Bible.
Hannah states that she and Ed are in a 100/100 relationship. This means Ed is fully accountable financially, while she will provide 100 percent of her time to support and love, including doing little things like making a favorite drink or food when her partner is stressed out.

“I do housekeeping, cook and shop. Ed doesn’t think money is important, but he prefers to be supported and looked after,” Hannah said.
“He sees me as an investment because I supported him, and that means he’s now making three times more money than before.”
For Ed, being the backbone made him commit to being responsible. Financing someone’s life has given them meaning in life.
“I like to pamper the people I love, but you don’t have to have a lot of money to do it. My opinion in a relationship is that the man should be the backbone and the woman who takes care of the house,” Ed said.
Hannah also added: “There is no right or wrong in dating, the most important thing is that your values are directly proportional to those of your partner in a relationship.”
