Al-Marsad newspaper: Zakat, the tax and customs authority said – in a memo – that it is forbidden to import all sexual objects, noting that if they are imported, they will be confiscated and a seizure report of prohibited objects is issued with the imposition of a penalty on the importer.
He explained that the penalty varies according to the quantity and objects seized, in response to a question from one of the importers, via the Authority’s Ask Zakat, Tax and Customs account: “The banned substance is classified as sex toys, and is been seized and is not listed on the Prohibited or Restricted Items page on the Customs page … why? “.
Previously, the authority revealed that travelers arriving or departing from the Kingdom must disclose the amounts they are carrying if their value reaches or exceeds 60,000 riyals, or more, and the equivalent in cash, jewelry or precious metals.
He added that it is necessary to reveal and complete the declaration form for travelers when they enter or leave the country carrying an amount of 60,000 riyals or more and the equivalent in cash, jewelry or precious metals.
