Launched in 2019, Brussels web radio BX1 + is transforming this Monday to become BX1, the Brussels radio, now available both on our website and on RadioPlayer.be or in DAB +. This new launch heralds several changes within your Brussels media. Changes anticipated for several years, as Marc De Haan, director of BX1 explains: “We are approaching these changes in small steps. Three years of web radio allowed us to deal with this new medium, to add the skills we lacked. A DAB + radio requires more linear programming. It’s a completely different approach, but we have a great test for three years, which means we are ready today “.

Marc De Haan also returned to the construction of the new BX1 headquarters, which is emerging from the ground at the Mediapark site, near Reyers: “The building is under construction. It is an ambitious project, which will allow us to have a new important production tool for the future “He said.
