Ever since the success of “Idol”, Damli has been a big part of the limelightand probably few have received as much space in the column and created as many titles as the “Butterflies” singer has.
What happened to “The idols”?
This week, Damli is a guest on the podcast Thomas Numme (52), “Sunday Brunch”where the two tackle a number of themes, including the fact that he was so young when he started the circus.

Numme points out in the podcast that the media pressure has simply been pretty low and that almost everything the star says and does is reported in the media. She believes it still is.

Numme and Damli also talk about how she was only 17 when her career as an artist took off – and therefore has been in the spotlight for half her life.
– I was caught a little in bed a few years ago, or they start to be many years ago, because I was no longer young and promising. Because I’ve always been young and promising, the 34-year-old says on the podcast.

Numme wonders when that happened, and then Damli can reveal that she thinks it was when Astrid S appeared, which results in a loud laugh from both of them.

– It was almost a punch in the face, but then I was an “Idol” judge myself. I was a judge in the season he was. Then I got pregnant and became a mother, and a lot of things happened.

Damli concludes that he is now in the adult and established category, and that therefore he is no longer young and promising.
