We tested the Xiaomi Watch S1 for you four months ago. In this article, we’ll look at four reasons why it makes sense to buy them. First, their price has come down a lot, but they can also impress with a nice display, great resistance, or the ability to call.
Low price
As already mentioned in the introduction, the Xiaomi Watch S1 is quite a lot it got cheaper. While we had to fork out 4,290 CZK for the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active variant at launch, they can now be purchased more than a thousand dollars less. The standard model was sold in May at the recommended price of 5,490 CZK, now you can buy it at less than 4,200 CZK.
Excellent exposure
Xiaomi Watch S1 boasts a great 1.43 inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, which gives us a very solid fineness of 326 pixels per inch. High-end phones are similar in value, so if you like thin but bright displays, you’ll be fine with a Chinese watch. There is, of course, automatic brightness and Always-On mode, which can display the date, time, and basic complications.
Good battery life
For many users, battery life is a key aspect of a watch. Maybe older Galaxy Watch4other watches with Wear the operating system or the Apple Watch lasts a maximum of two days on a single charge. Then there’s the opposite extreme of Huawei watches, which often last two weeks on a single charge. Xiaomi Watch S1 is somewhere in between. They can cope with cheaper use up to 12 days, with the normal one then about a week. We’re talking about a scenario where you use your watch to call, pay, manage a notification from time to time, or exercise.
