Cristiano Ronaldo suffered a nose injury this Saturday, 24 September, in the League of Nations match played in Prague between Portugal and the Czech Republic.
In the 13th minute, the striker collided heavily with Czech goalkeeper Tomás Vaclík. Following the impact, CR7 left the pitch with a bloody face, but returned to the game a few minutes later with a nose patch after receiving medical assistance.
The incident did not stop the Portuguese from winning 0-4 and Ronaldo also witnessed his team’s last goal. Next Tuesday, 27 September, Portugal will play against Spain in Braga, an important match that will decide the group winners and that Manchester United could miss if the facial injury suffered against the Czechs turns out to be serious.
