Thanks to a lavish last card on a course he knew at the end of the clubs, Matthis Lefevre last week won the IPS New Mexico Open, a professional tournament of the local section of PGA America.
It costs a whopping 62 (-9) last card. Mattis Lefevre went to snatch the victory. Two bogeys, but above all an eagle and nine birds, the last of which at 18, allowed the player who did all his Hossegor win this tournament by counting for the local PGA. He surpassed two American pros by one point.

Winner this summer’s Grand Prix of the Landes at home in Hossegor, Matthis Lefevre is the first amateur to win this IPS New Mexico opened since the late 1960s.
He is also the first Frenchman to accomplish this feat. He will enroll in college next year. TCU in Fort Worth. A university through which they too have passed Giuliano Marrone et Paolo Barjon.
