The third season of The Witcher will arrive in the summer of 2023

Netflix has set a preview window for the upcoming season of The Witcher TV series. It will arrive in the summer of 2023, the streaming giant could confirm over the weekend.

On Twitter, Netflix shared a photo of Geralt’s dizzy werewolf locket. Otherwise, we haven’t had a chance to find out more about the upcoming season, which is just over a year away.

From before we know that the third season of The Witcher continues the story of Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer. Geralt becomes increasingly involved in the role of father to Ciri, while the girl herself takes magic lessons with Yennefer.

New series without Geralt

For those who can’t wait to see more The Witcher of any kind, however, you don’t have to wait until summer. The Witcher: Blood Origin will premiere in December – more precisely on Christmas Day -.

Set 1,200 years before Geralt’s adventures, this series deals with the origin story of the first volver. Here we will see how the huge fantasy universe ends up being the strange melting pot that we have become familiar with through Geralt’s previous escapades in book, game and series formats.
