Apple has quietly raised the price of its Lightning to SD camera reader in the UK, with the accessory now priced at £ 35, up from its previous retail price of £ 29.

With the Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader, users can download photos and videos from their digital camera to their iPad or iPhone for viewing in the Photos app.

Once the camera SD card is inserted into the reader, the user’s iPad or iPhone will automatically open the Photos app, which will import all or only the selected images and videos, then optionally erase them from the SD card when done import.

The Lightning to SD Camera Card Reader supports standard photo formats, including JPEG and RAW, and SD and HD video formats, including H.264 and MPEG-4.
