Qatar First Bank changes commercial name to “Lesha Bank”

Qatar First Bank announced it would change its trading name and logo to “Lesha Bank” after obtaining the necessary approvals from regulators, according to a disclosure by the bank on the Qatar Stock Exchange on Sunday.

This is the second time the bank has changed its name since its founding, as it was called “Qatar First Investment Bank” when it was founded in 2008, but in 2013 its management decided to change its name to “Qatar First Bank”, according to the bank website.

In its stock exchange disclosure on Sunday, the bank added that it had changed its trade registration and charter to reflect the bank’s new name.

He said the bank’s business name and logo will be officially changed on the market in the coming days.

At the beginning of August, the extraordinary general meeting of Qatar First Bank agreed to change the name of the bank to “Lesha Bank” and to authorize the Chairman of the Board of Directors to take all necessary measures regarding the new name of the bank and to adopt all the necessary changes to implement the new name, logo, brand and names of the subsidiaries.
