A THOUSAND OAKS, California. – The Los Angeles Rams have placed wide receiver Van Jefferson on the injured reserve list as he recovers from knee surgery.
The club thus frees up a place in the formation for the defensive end Grant Haley, who was in the training brigade.
The Rams (1-1) are preparing to play in Arizona against the Cards (1-1) on Sunday.
In defense of the Super Bowl champions, the Rams will play their first game on the road this season.
Jefferson will miss at least the first six games of his people.
He had 802 yards in reception last year, including six touchdowns.
The Rams enlisted him in the second round in 2020.
