Brandenburg Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke (SPD) is hoping for military contracts for the aviation industry in the capital region if the Bundeswehr is equipped with new US combat technology in the coming years. This is another reason why Woidke was now on an aggressive advertising tour for Brandenburg in the United States. “I’m thinking about Boeing helicopters or Lockheed Martin fighter jets,” Woidke told this newspaper before boarding the flight back to Germany.
