Chronicle of the “March of the Rosary” of September in Dallas, Texas / “March of the Rosary” of September in Dallas, Texas

(Spanish version below)

Dallas is your normal American city, with its streets full of cars and pedestrians, walking around to run errands, go shopping and / or meet friends or business meetings.

No one stops their hustle and bustle or takes a deep breath, so overwhelming is the modern man’s to-do list!

The sun was shining on this Texas afternoon when something strange breaks the monotony. A group of men, women and children, in prayer, approaches the center … Crucifixes raised, flags waved, rosaries in hand: “Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, amen “.

The Carlist circle Royal Texas Trail continues his monthly march praying for the intercession of Our Lady so that the state of Texas is consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

But I want to stop at a moment of the march:

A dark-skinned, homeless man, lying on the platform, with red eyes … from alcohol? drugs? tears? Another of the superfluous of this company.

The forgotten, the disposable, the non-essential of the liberal order…. what story lies behind his fate, I wonder.

The man raises his head, at that moment a young man passes by, praying, with a wooden crucifix … his eyes meet the image of our Savior, nailed to the wood, victim of our sins. The light breaks the darkness !! Man makes the sign of the cross, slowly, tracing the cross, with his eyes fixed on the crucifix …

Let’s not forget that we are Carlists because Catholics … and as Catholics (and Carlists) we fight for the Kingdom of God.
