Raphael Varane having the debut season in Manchester United less polished. However, Varane’s performance improved in his second season.
The French central defender was signed to Manchester United by Real Madrid in a deal that reached £ 41m in the summer of 2021. Unfortunately, Varane has been plagued with repeated injuries which have limited his appearances.
Varane made a total of 29 appearances in all competitions and missed at least 17 games. The Red Devils failed to finish sixth in the Premier League with the record for lowest points in club history.

However, Raphael Varane shine again under the new manager Erik ten Hag. Varane played in six of United’s eight games at the start of the season and helped his side win five wins.
