7 sites reported to Polda Metro Jaya for showing the pirate movie “Stealing Raden Saleh”

GIACARTA, KOMPAS.com – Production company Visinema Pictures reports seven sites suspected of showing feature films Stealing Raden Saleh illegally.

Visinema Pictures’ attorney, Muhammad Aris Marasabessy, said seven sites reported by his clients were known to deliver movies Stealing Raden Saleh from movie screen recordings.

His group is still continuing to explore other sites that also participated in the screening of the pirated film.

“Still U.S Research, we will explore. To be sure, these seven sites are really proven right now, ”Aris told reporters on Wednesday (9/21/2022) night.

According to Aris, his client has learned that one of his films has been pirated and illegally broadcast on the internet since September 7, 2022.

“This film will be broadcast on August 25, 2022, we just received the information on September 7,” Aris said.

As for piracy, reports of alleged film piracy Stealing Raden Saleh reported at Polda Metro Jaya on Wednesday (21/9/2022).

The report was registered at Polda Metro Jaya under number LP / B / 4844 / IX / 2022 / SPKT / POLDA METRO JAYA of 21 September 2022.

In his report, Aris claimed that the defendant, still under police investigation, committed piracy by recording films in theaters.

The recording is then uploaded by the party reported on the Internet and can be viewed or downloaded freely.

Due to piracy, Aris continued, his client suffered material losses. The reported party was also accused of Article 9 Juncto of Article 113 of Law (UU) number 28 on copyright.

The alleged hijacking of the film was also reported pursuant to article 32 Juncto of article 48 of law no. 19 of 2016 on electronic information and transactions (ITE).

“Of course there are many if there are material losses. Only nominally do we have to confirm again,” he concluded.
