The autumn of cinema has arrived in Latvia. This evening In monopoly documentary and art of everyday life on cinema screens through the eyes of our host – the cinematographer Aleksandrs Grebnevs.

Aleksandrs once graduated from Saldus Secondary School, then specialized in videographer at the Latvian Academy of Culture and was a fellow in the specialty of cinematographer at the Konrād Wolf School in Potsdam, Germany.

Alexander has been in the world of cinema since 2001. Alexander’s filmography includes several films, TV shows, commercials and documentaries, including the documentary “Family Matters”, which once received major awards at several film festivals in Nepal, Poland, Germany and Russia. Alexander has also worked on popular films such as “Graduation Year” and “Nothing Will Stop Us”. He has been repeatedly nominated for the “Lielā Kristaps” award for his work on him.

One of Aleksandar’s latest works is the Latvian feature “Neona pavasaris”, which will premiere in cinemas on 14 October.
