Thiruvananthapuram – Non-bail sections have been accused of KSRTC employees beating their father in front of their college student daughter. Police filed a case on charges of insulting womanhood. The unsecured charges were imposed after the girl testified that she was assaulted. Previously the bail section was imposed.
Panchayat employee Amachal Swadashi Premanan (53) was beaten during a dispute over her daughter’s concession ticket renewal. 4 employees were suspended on the recommendation of Minister Antony Raju. KSRTC Aryanadu Unit Station Master A. Muhammad Sheriff, Kattakkada Depot Duty Guard SR Suresh Kumar, Conductor N. Anil Kumar and Assistant CP Milan Dorich have been suspended.
The problem was caused by the position of employees that the grant cannot be given without a course certificate. Premanan said the certificate had been issued earlier but the employees did not give up. When Premanan said that this is why KSRTC reached this level, there was a discussion. Premanan was beaten and pushed into the staff room. The KSRTC MD apologized to people for the incident. The High Court requested a report from the MD.
